Follow the following steps to make Windows Xp genuine:

1. Click on start and then click on run.
2. Enter ' regedit ' and click OK (without ' ' inverted commas)
   
3. Registry Editor will open.click on the plus sign besides HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
4. Now double click on Software
5. scroll downwards and find Microsoft and double click on it ..
6. Another series of of keys open now scroll downwards & double click on Windows NT .
7. now scroll downwards and click WPA Events under CurrentVersion.
8. Select the key OOBE Timer double click and delete the data by selecting it with mouse pointer
9. Close registry editor
10. Now open Run again and type : %systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
11. Click on the second Radio Button Of activation by Telephone & click next.
12. Now the option comes change Product Key click on it and enter the activation code present in this file uploaded on mediafire : Windows XP activation Key & click Update.....
13. Now your windows is activated the only thing u need to do is to click on "Remind Me Later" option and Restart your computer

Now go ahead validate your windows but remember validation is not supported for Windows XP SP1 & SP2 ........Its only supported by XP SP3

If you Do not want to go through such processes you can download this .REG key and run it..

It will Inject its data in Registry editor making your version of Windows XP genuine..

But I will recommend the above method it is tested.......and 100% working

The best thing about windows Vista is its user interface....The worst con high boot time and more resource user.....still its an important milestone between Windows XP & Windows 7
